I'm Kelli and I am a 30-year-old female patient and have had the privilege of knowing Dr. Sanders for over 9 years.   He has helped my life tremendously but the largest impact he made was finding the hole in my heart!   I had what is known as a PFO (patent foramen ovale) which is a hole between the right and left sides of my heart. Dr. Sanders had heard of new studies being done for migraine patients dealing with this problem and encouraged me to find a cardiologist to see if this was my problem.

What was found was that I was not having migraine headaches, I was having TIA's (miniature strokes) and finally had a full 
blown stroke losing my entire right side functionality (which has now returned) before the doctors went in and fixed the hole.   If it were not for Dr. Sanders I may have never known that my 
migraine headaches could be cured and may have actually had a stroke causing me to lose functionality for good. Dr. Sanders continues to learn and keep up with the most recent medical 
marvels, which is why I keep up with him! He is truly a l
ifesaver!
